Dear Hank and Marsha:

We own both sides of a semi-detached home and wanted a more uniform look. We never expected the change we would get when Hank told us he could make it look like a brand new building.

My husband and I feel like we just told Hankster’s to “move that bus!” and give us a whole new home.

Well, when the project was complete (on time and for what Hank told us it would be) we were overjoyed.

In July of 2009 my husband I met with Jay, the salesman for Hankster’s. He was one of the few that had returned our phone calls asking to meet for an estimate from the numerous companies we had contacted. Mannerly, professional, and  – also on time, he went over all of our questions and concerns. The measurements were taken and a contract was drawn up.

We were encouraged to voice any concerns or have any questions about the process of the materials themselves answered, if we were unsure or even curious. Before leaving Jay gave us a date for September. Hopeful, but, yet consumer skeptical we waited and true to their word in September the crew was walking around my house setting up their game plan.

There were no breaks until the job was done. That was a full insulation wrap, siding, doors and windows. We have a 100 year old 2 story farm house that in any room, especially the kitchen, the drafts could blow a match out. After Hankster’s came and totally transformed the look of the house and how the house stands up to the elements, several things had changed as well. The house doesn’t even look like the original. It looks bigger, cleaner, and straighter.

My sister came to visit after the reno was complete and she nearly drove past us because of the transformation. We have a trucking company down the road from us and when the trucks would go by it was as if they were going through the living room. Now we don’t even hear them. Our heating has been significantly cut. We noticed huge savings in just a couple of months.

The whole experience dealing with Hankster’s has been very positive. We were encouraged to look for defects to check out the workmanship and give our opinion.

After everything was said and done, Hank told us to phone if we found anything that was originally overlooked. His words – “we are human too”. We haven’t found anything, but positive benefits and we are so happy we went with Hankster’s.

We highly recommend Hankster’s Window & Doors for excellent service and quality of windows.

During the past years, we have had our windows replaced in the main part of our house. In 2009, we decided to have our solarium windows replaced.

In August Hank gave us a fixed price on a total of 12 windows, one door and siding.

A delivery date and installation date was given at that time plus advice how to improve the solarium.

Installation date was met, old windows were removed, replaced by new high quality windows, siding replaced and door installed in one day with minimum disruption.

By the end of the day, all was completed to our entire satisfaction adding to the value of our home.

The quality of the windows has added to the comfort of our solarium during the winter months.

I would like to thank you for the extensive work you have done on our home. Replacing over 40 windows is not an easy job but you managed it without much disruption of our home life despite having a newborn to contend with. The soffits and fascia are beautiful and the siding is exceptional. I was most impressed with the daily cleanup of the work site which enabled us to continue using the yard and pool.

We recently had a new steel front door with sidelight installed by Hankster’s Windows & Doors.  The owner Hank, came to our home with a wide selection of styles and colours to choose from.  After we selected a door, he provided us with prompt delivery and professional installation.  Now the front of our home looks complete with our new door.

We are extremely happy with the service we received from Hankster’s Windows & Doors.  Previously, we had them install all of our windows and have had a noticeable decrease in our heating bill.

In the fall we were looking to replace  a back door and sliding door.  We needed it done quickly. Hankster’s came through.

Their service and product were great and their prices extremely reasonable in comparison to other companies that we explored.
